How a trip gets judged here
travelers.so does not rank places. It decides whether a whole trip works for the people taking it — and then books it on live inventory. This is what happens between the brief and the total.
From a brief to a plan
Say where, when, who and how fast
Pick the two ends of a corridor from the places travelers.so knows, your dates, your party, a pace and what you care about. No account is needed to plan; nothing about you is stored unless you sign in.
Every fork gets a typed answer
Fly-drive or road-only, where each night is spent, which stops are worth the detour and whether each day fits your pace are each put to a calibrated decision model as a small, fixed question. It sees a summary of the trip, never a corpus, and it answers with probabilities rather than prose.
You are told how sure we are
Each decision shows its confidence. Below the threshold for that kind of decision, or when the model is unavailable, the arithmetic default is kept and labelled as such. A day the arithmetic calls overloaded stays overloaded whatever the model thinks.
Tell it what you would change
Skip a stop, add one back, love a night or shrug at it. Each of those is recorded against the decision that produced it, so the next plan for a party like yours is judged against what people actually did.
Paying for it
Card payment is not switched on yet. The prices you see in a live search are real and current, but travelers.so does not take payment today.
This page will say something different when that changes. It reads the setting rather than describing a checkout that may not be open.
What a price on this site means
A plan carries no prices. The places, distances and driving times in it are reference data; the flights, stays and cars that make it real are supply, and supply is only ever read live from Duffel at the moment you ask for it. A supplier search costs money to run, so it needs an account.
If a fare moves while you are deciding, you are told the old price and the new one rather than quietly charged the difference.
What is not built yet
The planner knows a handful of corridors in Portugal, Italy and Iceland. It does not yet replan a trip while you are on it, price the days it produces, or judge a plan against a company travel policy. Those are next, in that order.
