How a trip gets planned here
travelers.so is two things at once: a marketplace you can browse yourself, and a studio where a travel advisor builds a trip on the same live inventory. This is what happens between the two.
From a destination to a total
Start from a destination
Every destination travelers.so publishes has its own page describing what the place is like and which airport you fly into. Nothing here is a catalogue of everywhere — it is the set of places we publish.
Search live flights and stays
The search on a destination page queries Duffel, which returns bookable airline and hotel offers priced at that moment for your dates and your departure airport. A supplier search costs money to run, so it needs an account.
An advisor builds the trip
An advisor assembles the flights and stays into one itinerary and sets their markup and planning fee on it. Those numbers stay in the studio: the proposal shows the trip and one total, not the arithmetic behind it.
You get a link, not an account
The advisor sends a share link. It opens the full itinerary and the total without a login, and it carries the advisor's own email address so you reply to a person rather than to a form.
Paying for it
Card payment is not switched on yet. The prices you see in a live search are real and current, but travelers.so does not take payment today — an advisor completes the booking.
This page will say something different when that changes. It reads the setting rather than describing a checkout that may not be open.
What a price on this site means
A fare shown on a destination card is one that was observed on a stated route and departure date, and it is printed with that route and date beside it. It is not a package price and not a forecast. Where no fare has been observed, the page runs a live search instead of printing a number.
Everything a live search returns comes from the supplier at the moment you ask. If a fare moves while you are deciding, you are told the old price and the new one rather than quietly charged the difference.
What is not built yet
There is no request queue that matches a traveler to an advisor. Today an advisor relationship starts outside the product: an advisor you already work with sends you a proposal link, or you browse and search the marketplace yourself.
